Announcing our first CAA conference

The Sunbeam Theatre @ Ladbroke Hall, London

I don’t know about you, but I’ve been a little tired of generic sustainability events full of repetitive messages and virtue signalling.

With the explosive growth of the Carbon Accounting Alliance, Andrew and I felt it was time to bring the industry together and to create a space for meaningful technical discussions that move the dial.

So, we are organising the first Carbon Accounting Alliance (CAA) conference on 7th October in London (with virtual options!).

An event to inspire a radical acceleration of climate impact.

Why attend?

🖩 Designed by carbon accounting professionals for the industry. Agenda and speakers will be chosen based on their value-add from people in the know.

⏱️ No time for the generic. This will be a place for in-depth and practical discussions on niche topics that move the needle.

🤝 A space for genuine collaboration. Being focused allows us to bring extremely relevant people together so that we can align technically and advance best-practice.

We are also doing things a little differently...

📅 Collaborative agenda creation: The agenda is being developed collaboratively with our community, to ensure the topics, speakers and format is most suited to achieve our objectives. If you believe you have valuable content and opinions to share, we encourage you apply or nominate individuals before 24th March.

💸Inclusive ticket fund: We have tried our best to keep prices accessible but for those who simply cannot afford it, our incredibly generous Platinum Sponsors, Xero and Sumday, are kindly sponsoring up to 25 individuals (!) to attend for free.

The event is open to all, including non-CAA members, and designed for those with experience in measuring carbon emissions, whether that be in an in-house sustainability role, as an independent or a service provider.
